Political Science class is going to be very interesting this semester. The professor has an attractive resume in the world of politics. He held back his affiliation, but told us that he was currently working on a presidential campaign that remained unnamed until near the end of class.

Candy Mountain
Yeeeah. So I’m really beginning to doubt the sanity (or sobriety) of the two young ‘uns I work with, Larry and Nathan. (Names have been changed to protect identity). This here YouTube video they suggested to me just about confirms it. They are insane. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5im0Ssyyus
Yeah.
Told ya so.
Bonjour!
I’m back from camping and I have a huge blogroll to catch up on. Yesterday I was still so tired from sleeping on the ground that I didn’t even think twice as I read “Gonzalez Resigns.”
The Rats are Jumping Ship
While Karl Rove resigned through crocodile tears this week, I thought that maybe the Repugs were cutting him off to save the last of their dying image of wholesome values and patriotism. But now, with the announcement that Tony Snow will be resigning, I’m wondering if the crowd leaving the White House aren’t trying to save their own images by distancing themselves from an over-zealous, moronic Chief.
Best Movie Ever
Ok, so I say that about every great movie I see. If I counted, there would probably be about 100 Best Movies Ever, but seriously, this one really is good.
Recently Heard on the Web
This goes out to the Republicans in power. Whether they be confused, narrow-minded, blinded by greed, or just plain stupid, I’m not sure, but I found their motto while surfing the net. So here it is:
The Sins of Omission
Fred Thompson: Possible repuglican candidate, or squirmy guy with a knack for lying without saying a word?
Trickle Down, my Arse
Great article on Daily Kos regarding the voodoo economics and how Americans are still waiting for money to trickle down from the horrendously wealthy so they can receive social benefits. Hopefully, America isn’t holding it’s breath. Does it make sense that two people living with developmental disabilities are forced to not get married because if they did, their SSI check (about $600 per month for each) would be cut in half? Where is this trickle down effect? If it were working, wouldn’t we have a much better economy right now? After all, Regeanomics started the ball rolling many years ago.
Tonight on TV!
Aah, channel surfing. The things we find.
First, Barry Bonds, with his tree-trunk neck and man-boobs insisting his record is not tainted by a suspected use of steroids. My sister saw the so called record breaking hit herself. I wasn’t impressed.
Second, a snippet of Bill O’Reilly in which he tells of a “revolting” story of a Doctor trying to make money off the death of Anna Nicole Smith. As if Fox News wasn’t airing more updates about the case in the ensuing months after her death than the E! channel. Talk about exploitation. What a douche.
And you wonder why I watch TV three times a month?
